Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American from Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, an Argentinean of Scottish and English descent is her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor Joy has four siblings, one in each parent's prior marriages. After living in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy the move was traumatic and she was unable to study English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16 she left college and began pursuing a career as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress from a very young age. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
